The Boulder Ukulele Group is a Community group of musicians who get together once a month for a strum-along. We meet the second Saturday of every month from 10:30-noon at Red Door Studio, 4439 Broadway Unit A. in North Boulder. The meet-up is free and is for all ages and ability levels. Come to play, learn, meet friends and have fun!
B.U.G. Finds New Home!
Rock’N Soul Cafe, B.U.G.’s long-time home, closed at the end of March. I went and saw the owners on their last day and thanked them for all the support they gave us. They are putting everything in storage and have hopes of opening again some day in the future, so we’ll hope that happens for them. They were a unique venue for musicians coming through Boulder and they will be dearly missed.
One of our B.U.G. members has offered up her awesome art studio for our new home. It is MT Studio located at 4439 Broadway Unit A. Go North on Broadway. Take the first left after Blue Spruce Auto and head back to the warehouse on the right. It is the West-most unit, Unit A with a red door. Just come on in!
Lil Rev Coming to Town
Lil Rev, a great ukulele player, is making his way to Colorado June 23rd and is looking for a place to play a house concert in the evening for 25-35 people.
